Little Waves, for birth professionals

A free contraction timer that records the pattern and hands it to you legibly. Nothing else.

What it does

Times contractions with one tap, one-handed, in the dark. The current contraction stays visible on the Lock Screen and can be stopped there, and Apple Watch starts and stops from the wrist, so nobody unlocks a device mid contraction. It shows the pattern in plain words: how long, how far apart, and how the last hour looks. It presents the record; it never interprets it, never sounds an alarm, and never tells anyone to go to hospital. You and your client decide what the pattern means.

The record you receive

One tap shares the whole record as a message, an image, or a tidy PDF with timings on a true time axis, made to be read at a glance. The waters marker sits on the timeline where it happened. CSV carries the raw data. The record survives the screen locking, the app being force-quit, and the device restarting.

What it never does

No adverts, ever; nothing interrupts a labour. No account, no sign-up, and no data collected: the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and it can be checked on the store page in ten seconds. Nothing leaves home. No charges of any kind; editing, history and export are all included, permanently. And no advice: the app records; the clinical judgment stays with you.

Accessibility

Built and verified for VoiceOver, large text, Reduce Motion and one-handed use, with accessibility labels declared on the App Store.
